Collection: A Particular Kind Of Place | A Series

Some towns are built on secrets. Others have spent generations learning to live with them.

Brackenridge is a place where ordinary life continues beneath the weight of unanswered questions, where old histories leave behind more gaps than explanations, and where the past is never quite as distant as it should be.

Through the eyes of Gabrielle Stevens, a young woman who has spent years searching for answers no one seems willing or able to give her, A Particular Kind of Place explores the strange history of a town that has never been what it appears.

Told through a series of short stories, fragments of history, and unsettling encounters, this ongoing horror series returns to Brackenridge to uncover what its records cannot explain, what its residents would rather forget, and what may have been there long before the town itself.

Some questions have no easy answers. Others may be better left unanswered.
