Beauty Where The Sun Doesn't Shine explores the places people would rather not look; the private struggles, contradictions, and darkness that exist beneath ordinary lives.

At its center is a question I found impossible to ignore: if beauty can exist within suffering, who gets to decide what that beauty means? The novel explores the uneasy distance between witnessing someone's pain and truly understanding it, and what happens when a life becomes a story in someone else's hands.

  • Dark, twisted, and Hard to Look Away From

“The way she frames her actions is so deeply narcissistic that you almost catch yourself believing her reasoning, until you remember you’re listening to a woman who killed children." - The Cannister Trials
